Returns & Refunds Policy
At The Gift Hamper Collective, we take pride in delivering high-quality hampers with premium products. We are committed to ensuring our customers are satisfied with their purchases. Our Returns & Refunds Policy complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) as outlined by the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC).
Change of Mind Returns
We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases. However, if you contact us before your order has been dispatched, we may be able to amend or cancel it at our discretion.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Products
Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund if your item:
- Arrives damaged or faulty
- Is significantly different from the description or advertised product
- Is missing key components that were included in the purchase
- Is not delivered within a reasonable timeframe due to our fault
If your hamper arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the issue (e.g., damaged or incorrect items)
- A description of the problem
We will assess the issue and offer a suitable remedy, which may include a replacement, refund, or partial refund.
Refunds & Replacements
- If a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method within 3-5 business days.
- If a replacement is required, we will send a new hamper at no additional cost.
Perishable & Personalised Products
- Due to food safety regulations, we cannot accept returns for perishable items (e.g., cheese, chocolates, or gourmet foods) unless they are faulty.
- Personalised hampers (e.g., monogrammed or custom-engraved items) cannot be refunded or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or defective.
Late or Missing Deliveries
If your hamper has not arrived within the estimated delivery timeframe, please contact us, and we will investigate with our delivery partners. Delays caused by third-party couriers, extreme weather, or peak season congestion are beyond our control, but we will do our best to assist.
